Age: 36
Current Characters: None, used to play Creed Graphite
Character: Lithia Spodumene
Age: Looks late teens/early 20s, is actually 2000 years older than that.
Canon: Tales of Hearts R
Canon Point: Just after she shattered most of Kohaku's Spiria core in the beginning of the game.
Background: Lithia's writeup and Hearts' plot (Note: Some of the info still doesn't reflect the localized terms and is based off the original when Hearts R has some changes. Most of that is pretty minor at least.)
Personality: Lithia is a woman who is very much defined by her sheer determination and will. She has spent two thousand years trying to stay one step ahead of a man who wants nothing more than for her to die and is far more powerful than her. She never let this fact get her down and did her utmost to gain any advantage she could. She's a very sweet and charismatic woman who was easily able to gain herself followers who worshipped her as a goddess. She was easily able to spread her tale far and wide to the point that it became a fairy tale taught to all children as a warning. She also was willing to accept massive damage to her Spiria to seal Creed away and give herself a chance to stop him as well. When it comes down to it she cares little about what happens to her as long as Creed isn't able to use Gardenia to destroy Organica since she is convinced that is going to be the end result and that Minera cannot be saved.
Lithia is a very caring woman, she said once that every life has meaning and she isn't one to sacrifice others unless there is no other choice. While she's caring, she also can consider the route that will result in the least amount of loss of life and can sacrifice someone she cares about for the sake of the world. She thinks Creed's plan to restore Minera is doomed to failure and will just destroy another planet and that he's gone so crazy that he sees that as perfectly fine. Stopping him comes first. She will do what she can to ensure her followers and vessels live, but if she can't save them she will save herself first.
Another thing we do see is that even if she's forced to live within the Spirias of others for so long, she tries to help the people she shares a life with. She will act as a friend and companion to them and give advice on how to deal with a situation. This actually was her undoing later on because her sharing as much as she did with Kohaku was what actually freed her and Creed and put Organica in danger. While Lithia was willing to sacrifice the whole party to keep Creed out of Mysticete, Kohaku wasn't willing to see them hurt. She also treats her servant, Kunzite, with the kindness of a close friend instead of a master. Truly, she sees Kunzite as a person, not a machine she brought to life. She also gained Corundum's loyalty and aid in entering Gardenia just by showing her kindness. Overall, she prefers to act in kindness and only will act otherwise if forced to. Even in the case of Creed, she'd rather talk him out of his insane plan. She still cares about him and loves him like a brother and her greatest wish would be for him to go back to being the kind man she grew up with. But if he won't back down, she's prepared to subdue or kill him if she can or die trying. With anyone else trying to harm her, she does try to act in ways that will not kill the person and instead incapacitate them.
Another key trait of hers is the fact that she completely blames herself for everything that happened to Minera and Creed. She doesn't blame Creed in the least bit, she seems to have taken the fact that he blames her to heart and blames herself for his feelings turning to hate towards her. She blames herself for what happened to her sister as well. She grieves for all those lost due to what she feels is her mistake and feels the only way she can atone for her mistakes is to save Organica from that same fate. She also doesn't believe Minera can be restored until near the end when she sees all the Mineran Spirias for herself. In a way, she's more a realist than an optimist and tends to expect the worst and hope for the best, not that one can blame her with how her life has gone.
One last thing that is rather common for Lithia is that she'll pretend she is perfectly fine and her problems are no big deal. She's very much the type of person who will put on a fake smile to put others at ease. She doesn't want others to worry about her and she kept quiet about the fact that she had little time left to live. It will be very common for emotional effects to not match up with her outward appearance because she so commonly tries to put on a strong front and pretend she's not scared or sad or feeling anything negative. She'll probably even try to deny it even with evidence showing otherwise. Plain and simple, she doesn't want to worry others. However, this wish really comes from the fact that she's blamed herself and dealt with Creed's hatred for so long that she's stopped being able to think much of herself. What is more amazing is that she can even put up such a front still and that she hasn't given in to despair.
Abilities: Lithia is a Mineran Willcaster of the highest order, which means she's very good with what they call Will Artes. Will Artes are basically Hearts' form of magic. They only draw upon her own inherent power and do not require a Soma. Lithia is very skilled, but does pale in comparison to the likes of someone like Creed.
Lithia is rather lacking in skill with artes that are useful in combat. She may know the basics of them, but never has really had a need to use them in battle because she's always had someone like Kunzite around to protect her. What she is good at is healing, shielding, and dispelling artes. She's good enough that she was able to dispel the arte Creed used on Kor and bring him from being near death to up on his feet in very little time. Also because Lithia is weaker she is more likely to tire from using powerful artes.
We also do know she's skilled at teleporation to any place she's visited before. In the ending she's able to teleport herself from Gardenia to Mysticete. What is a bit more doubtful is how effective she would be at bringing others with her. Truly, she doesn't like using it on others anyhow and is more the type to use her powers only when needed and not to show off.
She's also perfectly capable of creating new artes, modifying existing artes, and copying artes that others use. Many times she surprises Creed by copying something he does or using something she created specifically to counter a favorite tactic of his. She's a smart girl and definitely didn't rely just on Kunzite and others to keep herself alive for two thousand years of Creed wanting her dead. She's also very quick to react. However, the instances we see her act like this in canon are with Creed and his minions and she knows them well and can predict their actions normally. She was definitely caught unaware by Incarose on Beanstalk Tower and also by Clinoseraph in Minera. Overall she's more the type that she'll win by sheer determination to keep on trying and can adapt her tactics as needed. One thing she's very good at is assembling a group and motivating them to the point where they will gladly give their lives for her cause and she won't let a disadvantage bring her down. It's not just any person who can pretty much fight a war against someone so much more powerful than her and stay alive for as long as she did.
Lithia also is capable of Spiria Linking without a Soma like Creed is and can use that to see inside the Spirias of people and objects. The Spiria being like the soul or source of emotion, memory and thought. She also can do it at range, but isn't quite as good here. When she Spiria Linked with Mysticete's core she needed a boost from a massive Willstone, plus the assistance of Peridot and Pyrox to keep the link line in place and her two assistants were exhausted from their efforts. Lithia was as well. Also she is capable of separating Spiria and body, but is far less inclined to want to do so. She did it because she had to and she felt that if she had to live within the Spiria of another that at least she would help that person live a good life with her advice and companionship. Like with all other Hearts cast members who have Spiria Linking among their abilities this will require permission when used on characters. One skill that Lithia has that Creed does not is that she can draw upon the power in willstones to boost her own power and that can apply to elemental cores in Empatheias, though most of them won't grant her much in the way of additional power. She also later could draw upon the Somantic bond everyone shared to make her stronger and to help everyone else. A Somantic Bond is pretty much a special form of a bond between people where they share complete trust in each other and a very special sort of friendship that is very difficult to break. She won't have it with any of her castmates right off, but it can be established later on and then she'll be able to know how her castmates are doing.
Also, she's the one who shattered Kohaku's Spiria Core in such a way to leave Kohaku with a single emotion and the pieces scattered all over the world. She could completely shatter the core and kill someone that way, but would never do such a thing, which was why she changed the arte to leave one emotion.
Lastly, as a Mineran her body is composed of a high density of crystal which makes her overall more durable and sturdy than a regular human. Non-magical weapons won't hurt her much at all and the weapon would likely break or otherwise be damaged. She also has a decent magic resistance. We don't know what element she's weak to, but considering how she is meant to be the opposite of Creed and a lot of her stuff is light based and healing, I'll run with her having less resistance to magic based off dark element. She also is incapable of swimming, but can use artes to allow herself to safely walk on the bottom of an ocean or lake and propel herself back up. She's not one to hesitate to dive into an ocean to save a person's life and did so for Hisui on two occasions. She also weighs about double what a normal human does, I estimate about 200-250 pounds with her petite stature. Definitely enough to make Hisui complain a lot, but a bearable amount for a decently strong person to lift.
We also do know she has some skill at creating technology and Mineran technology has a lot in common with the stuff in Empathieas. She's very familiar with the workings of everything in Minera and she created Kunzite. She doesn't seem to be quite as skilled as Creed is here, but she's pretty adept. She also has a great deal of knowledge about emotions and Spirias. She should also have a good deal of knowledge about the creation of Xeroms and how they work, but would never make one or summon one after everything that happened.
Also, like Creed with the fact that she used the same arte on him as he used on her, she's got that same condition with the weak Spiria and Spiria Core. Since she was a bit better off than he was and progressed in canon so quickly mostly because of things he did to her, I'm going to give her six months assuming she doesn't overdo on artes and doesn't have to deal with excessive amounts of negative emotions affecting her (like more Arehtei appearances).
Alignment: Daimonia. It was actually a hard pick for her because Lithia's most prevalent emotion is determination, which doesn't fit nicely into any of the Arehtei. However, her determination stems from her need to stop Creed from doing what he thinks is the only way to save Minera and that also stems from her own feelings of regret and blame for her part in everything. While Peromei could also be a good fit, grief seems to be a better description for what Lithia feels about what happened to Minera. She doesn't despair over it or feel hope for change or even much hope that she'll win against Creed. She's mostly determined to stop him or die trying because she blames herself for the fact that he became like that and for even going along with his idea instead of supporting her own sister.
Other: Since she actually doesn't have access to her body at her canon point, I'm hoping it will be okay for her to regain it here since it could be plausible enough for both her body and Spiria to have been taken and rejoined with each other. The only thing that prevented her from returning to her body was the fact that she sealed Mysticete and stayed far away from it.
